Andrea Barrera AKA Keith Barrera is a DJ and Producer born in Santander, Colombia. Combining her artistic career as a crossover DJ and an electronic music DJ, she now holds 12 years of experience on Colombian dancefloors.
It all began at age 16, driven by a passion for music inherited from her father (a well-known DJ from the city of Bucaramanga). She first stood out in Latin genres, becoming one of the most recognized DJs of that niche in her country at just 20 years old.
Later, in mid-2019, she set out to find a new, far more intimate identity with music, exploring other styles that would lead her to discover the underground electronic scene — one she connected with instantly.
She first experimented with her new sound in local venues; however, thanks to her technical and artistic qualities, her music selection and her skill, she quickly positioned herself as one of the most recognized DJs of Colombia's electronic scene — a status that took her to countries such as Spain, Germany, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Portugal and Italy.
Her stage presence and charisma have led her to share the stage with world-class artists such as Nastia, Ellen Allien, Matador, Camelphat, Green Velvet, Sara Landry, Enrico Sangiuliano, Reiner, Avision, Fatima Hajji, Airod, Angerfist, Charlie Sparks, Otta and Parfait, among others.
Among many other achievements, Keith Barrera was invited as the official DJ for Season 8 of MTV's Acapulco Shore, named Breakthrough DJ of 2023 by the Colombian Dance Awards, and signed by the European agency TRIVIAL Bookings.
Andrea Barrera AKA Keith Barrera es una DJ y Productora nacida en Santander, Colombia, quien juntando su carrera artística como DJ de crossover y de música electrónica suma ya 12 años de experiencia en las pistas de baile colombianas.
Todo inició a los 16 años debido a la pasión por la música que hereda de su padre (DJ reconocido de la ciudad de Bucaramanga), destacándose primero con géneros latinos y llegando a ser una de las DJs más reconocidas de dicho nicho en su país con tan solo 20 años.
Más adelante, a mediados del año 2019, decide buscar una nueva identidad mucho más íntima con la música, explorando otro tipo de estilos musicales que la llevarían a descubrir la escena electrónica underground con la cual tuvo una conexión inmediata.
Inicialmente experimenta su nuevo sonido presentándose en antros locales; sin embargo, gracias a sus cualidades técnicas y artísticas, su selección musical y su técnica, logra posicionarse rápidamente como una de las DJs más reconocidas de la escena electrónica de Colombia, status que la llevaría a presentarse en países como España, Alemania, Chile, Ecuador, México, Portugal e Italia.
Su puesta en escena y su carisma la han llevado a compartir tarima con renombrados artistas de talla mundial como Nastia, Ellen Allien, Matador, Camelphat, Green Velvet, Sara Landry, Enrico Sangiuliano, Reiner, Avision, Fatima Hajji, Airod, Angerfist, Charlie Sparks, Otta y Parfait, entre otros.
Entre muchos otros logros, Keith Barrera fue invitada como DJ oficial de la 8va temporada del programa de televisión Acapulco Shore de MTV, nombrada DJ revelación del año 2023 por los Colombian Dance Awards y fichada por la agencia europea TRIVIAL Bookings.
